It's official, we've been named number 26 in the 2015 Deloitte Fast 50, with strong revenue growth of 275%.
What an honour it is to stand alongside some of New Zealand’s most well-revered businesses including the likes of Vend, Xero, and the winners of this year's number one spot, Garage Project. A handful of Little Giant’s own clients also took stage to accept the esteemed award, including social media agency Socialites and boutique investment manager PIE Funds.
Grabbing the 26th spot on the Deloitte Fast 50 index gives us another reason to celebrate, in what has been a notable year of awards, especially, considering how young we are.
“The Deloitte Fast 50 really means something to us because we started this company with nothing. We’ve grown it 100% organically with no outside investment and most importantly we’ve created a culture and movement that our people genuinely care about. Typically I would say awards are just a good excuse to get drunk, but this one is definitely special to us” says CEO Mark Hurley.
The past twelve months in particular has seen our growth explode; developing campaigns, platforms and strategies for some of NZ’s leading brands including Spark, Harmoney, Firth, GJ Gardener, NZ Post and AFT Pharmaceuticals. With the head count now approaching 30 Little Giant’s Auckland CBD offices are beginning to burst at the seams.
Hurley puts their growth down to a continuing shift in the advertising industry: “Albeit slowly in New Zealand, marketing budgets are moving to creative agencies who are digitally-led in the execution of their ideas versus traditional or above the line agencies who really struggle with the technical complexity and processes that come with digital execution. We aren’t a digital agency - we’re a digitally-led agency. For us this is a reflection of the world that we live in. Brands and consumers interact with each other across more touch points than ever before and we believe going forward the majority of these touch points will be digital, therefore our service offering reflects this.”
