With a background in design and ad industry experience, our newest Client Services recruit has been the perfect addition to the Little Giant team. Please give a warm welcome for Vinnie - hustler extraordinaire, wearer of many hats and owner of an infectious laugh. Let's get to know her a little better.
1. Who are you, and what’s your position at Little Giant?
Vinnie, Account Executive.
2. What made you want to work with us?
I knew about Little Giant back when I was just a uni student and have always been really impressed by the agency's portfolio. Coming from a design background I knew I always wanted to work somewhere that respects great design. Bonus that the team turned out to be pretty awesome too!
3. What are you most excited to achieve here?
Everyone here is super talented, I just want to absorb everything I can.
4. What was your journey like to get you where you are?
Slightly all over the place… I graduated with a design degree, spent a year in investment and then a little bit in advertising before I settled in here at LG.
5. Who in your life inspires you?
This is a bit cheesy but I would have to say, my parents. Leaving everything you know behind and moving to a completely new country that speaks a totally different language, all done on a very limited amount of money due to immigration policies... yeah, I hope one day I could be as fearless as that! I guess you just gotta go for it.
6. What's the funniest thing that's happened to you recently?
When my 10yr old sister said to me: “Ew, I don’t want to grow up and look like you, Vinnie.”
7. What book should everyone on the team read?
Emotional First Aid by Guy Winch. It’s actually quite practical.
8. Favourite 90's jam?
Anything Destiny’s Child. I’m also guilty of listening to Mariah Carey on repeat.
9. What do you think about when alone in the car?
What I’m going to have for my next two meals. Literally, nothing stresses me out more than the thought of possible hunger.
10. What are 3 things that bother most people, but you don't mind?
1 - Being called fat - I think it's an Asian family thing to be called fat all the time haha
2 - Blunt comments - I think they're quite funny
3 - The "k" or thumbs up text reply
11. If you could throw a party of any theme here in the office, what type would it be?
It would need to be out of the office and under the sun - a water fight battle and slip & slide. But with lots of food and ice cream of course :)
We're always on the hunt for talented people to join our team. Check out our current vacancies here.
