Calocurb.
From global first to overnight success
Making an overnight success of a brand new product.
Calocurb is a natural, weight loss supplement developed using active ingredients grown in little old Nelson.
The ambitious goal of global domination was taken in our stride, and we were responsible for end-to-end digital and creative strategy, and delivery of the project in its entirety.
We compiled a multidisciplinary team and tapped into the global DAN network. From this foundation, we built the product from the ground up - from business consulting and brand strategy to visual identity and packaging design, right through to logistics infrastructure design, ecommerce ecosystem delivery and media strategy.
The local launch was met with a phenomenal response, bringing in significant monthly recurring income for the business within 24 hours.
The product is currently available exclusively online by subscription at https://www.calocurb.co.nz and www.calocurb.com with launches planned for the Australian, Chinese and Japanese markets shortly. Watch this space!

Brand Communications
Calocurb's brand strategy involved an extensive research approach with US consumers which informed both the visual identity and the communications approach.
The brand plays on the natural provenance of the ingredients, and the empowerment the product delivers to consumers.
The packaging was developed with context at the forefront: delivering a delightful and inspiring experience to doorsteps everywhere. From the design of the supplement bottle itself, to the postal box the product is sent in, along with the portable carry case and print collateral included in each box.
The brand illustrations were completed by our in-house graphic design team and all product photography and campaign collateral was developed by our talented team of Art Directors.
Launch in both New Zealand and the US was supported by an extensive, collaborative digital performance campaign between Little Giant and iProspect to raise the brand profile, drive traffic, and fuel conversion.

Digital platform
As a web-only subscription product, the online store was integral to the success of the project. Shopify was used to power the ecommerce platform, with a long list of integrations across the digital ecosystem.
From fulfilment and shipping to referrals and customer service, recurring billing and direct marketing integrations, the multidisciplinary project team designed and built the platform with no detail left untouched.
Little Giant continues to work closely with the team at calocurb to ensure ongoing success through website and performance media optimisation on a retainer basis.
